Toys For Tots

Thanks to all of the ORM volunteers who helped at the 3rd Annual Golden Spike Celebration hosted by the Depot Conference Center on Saturday Dec 2nd. The event was co-sponsored by the Ohio Railway Museum, Toys for Tots and the US Marine Corps Reserve. As a result of the effort, more than six large boxes of new toys were collected. Despite the cold, there was entertainment, good food, hot drinks, and Santa. Even the little Scioto Railway locomotive was able to provide rides for the kids. The ORM volunteers included: Tom Reed (Santa Claus), Melody McDowell (Mrs. Claus), Bob Flores, Ed Miller, Bob Rietz, Dennis Schirzinger, Bill Ratz, Bill Wahl, and Ethan List.
