The Ohio Railway Museum is mourning the loss of one of its own. Board member Daniel Roberts was killed in an auto accident on June 26 near Toledo.
Dan was the legal affairs liaison and served on the excursions committee. He single-handedly resurrected the museum excursions with a scheduled run from Byesville to Dennison this August. He also served as a commissioner on the Ohio Rail Development Commission, working to develop passenger rail service throughout Ohio, including Columbus.
His professionalism was superb, his enthusiasm inspiring, and his friendship eternal. His loss will be felt for years to come.
